A few people we want in our corner...

FARRER'S (Tea & Coffee Merchants)

If you need a good cuppa after a long day on the lakeland fells we recommend the tea from this local lot

The Little Lakeland Soap Company (bring the natural goodness of essential oils to your body, mind and senses)

Essential oil products by choice made by Siobhan -Natural ingredients made into beautifully luxurious products which we locally sourced here in the Lake District. Super products to wake you up in the morning before your jaunt that day and to unwind too while surrounded by relaxing scents that aim to relieve tension, stress and lift spirits, whilst smelling amazing!

Lakeland Mues (rise and shine with luxury artisan muesli)

You wake up and what better way to start the morning with a real and healthy food choice you can trust - we felt that way so we added these boys muesli to our basket of delights that you receive on your arrival at our little cottage.  The muesli is hand toasted by the boys in Keswick.  Their blends hold a jamboree of seeds, nuts and cereals with just enough honey to make your taste buds sing, entrusting the sweetness to the fruit. Lakeland Mues will provide a flavour-fest as alluring as the Lakeland fells themselves.

AGNES & CAT (Hand Filled Soy Candles)

So just over the lake from us is this fresh smelling local business that creates the most wonderful and quirky soy candles that are to die for. We heart them and they're our neighbours so we think we should

WILD RIVER (quality paddlesport coaching and courses)

You want to get wet and wild in a canoe or kayak then Sean is your man, Tim can vouch he spent a blustery day on Ullswater and came back exhilerated.

The Ginger Bakers (Delicious Cakes & Bakes)

Oh we can vouch for the goodies that come from this local team of dedicated individuals, creators of all things cake whose aim is to bring great products using the best ingredients.  You may even find a few in our welcome basket!

Romneys Kendal Mint Cake (the original energy bar)

George Romney Ltd. produced Kendal Mint Cake for the first time back in 1918 based on an original recipe from Joseph Wiper back in 1869. Wiper took his eye off the pan while making a batch of clear mints — and just like that Kendal Mint Cake was born! Nobody comes to the lake district without trying a piece ;)

These guys can offer you our guests fresh luxury Lake district produce, delivered direct to our holiday cottage during your stay.
