So today is really the first official week of our little cottage in the corner availability. We are proud to say that we already have two bookings in October and are excited to anticipate yet more in the coming months. Today I have been finalising our orders for items in your welcome packs, which we think will be an important start to your holiday with us. We are hoping they are what puts that first smile on your face when you arrive and eases you into what our little cottage and this beautiful part of the world has to offer. They just may be the thing to get you to come back again and again. Although I am confident that our little cottage and its positioning will be what makes you not want to leave us.
So September is on us and believe it or not we are being blessed with better weather than we have had all summer. I was able and pleased to say that I was not working today and was therefore really happy to see blue skies over the lake and nearby fells from our own home. Even more pleased to see the autumnal colours starting to come into their own. A magical morning indeed one had to be there to believe it. The rest of the day continued in the same frame. It is calm tonight as I write and I have been watching the sun set and expose the leaves on the trees with a golden hue. One couldn't ask for a better start to the weekend. We just wish you were here to enjoy also. But if not now, please do consider coming for a visit you wont be disappointed 18 In the Corner is a little gem, but I would say that I am biased so come see for yourself!
